Jet Engine

A model of a 2-spool high bypass turbofan jet engine.

More than 200 hours of printing, fifty 3D printed components, four individual ball bearings and hours of assembly.

One of my most ambitious prints so far. With enough airflow, the turbine will spin on its own.

Printed using four different filaments: ASA (white and black), PLA (gold and grey).
